Happy New Year!!!

As 2010 comes to a close, my new years resolution is to get the updates in in a more timely manner. Anyway, we'll see how long that last. I know I missed a few birthdays, Nick (and he lives with me) Vince and yesterday was Miss Lyla's 1st.I hope you all had a wonderful day. I don't have any photos on my camera so I'm waiting for everyone to share with me so I can post them.
I talked to Aunt Peg and got an update on Uncle Brian. He is doing much better, walking around the house using the walker only half the time now. He will have to slow down on the basketball if he wants this hip to last more than 10 years this time. So keep him in your prayers still.
As you may or may not know, my dad (Tom) spent the night on Dec 23 in the hospital. All is OK, he says its not life threatening, but it was a 14 hour stay and he got an IV of 2 bags of red blood.(as opposed to white platelets). Then they hosted Christmas Eve, not as many as normal, but still we should have changed the location. Most of us will be at the coffee & donuts on Sunday to be checking up on him. Please continue to keep him in your prayers also.
I had all 3 kids in house for Christmas day this year, first time in quite a few years. We had a wonderful day. Mike fixed his french toast breakfast, then we all went to Bridget & Jason's for a sit down dinner, 14 of us, and played games the rest of the night.
The rain has finally stopped in Cali. We are sending it on to the eastern cousins. I know just what you wanted more snow. I hope you get to enjoy it before heading back to work on Monday.

Liam's Birthday

By the time I get this posted it will be Liams 9th birthday. He had a sleep over at his house for his big day. Happy Birthday Liam eat lots of cake..

Monday surgery

On Monday 12-1, dad had the first of his eye surgeries. Things went well & by Thursday he was only sleeping with the eye guard. Here's Tibor checking up on dad.

Hollywood Parade

On Sunday 11-28, Miss Danya along with her school flag, dance, drill team and band braved the VERY cold evening in downtown LA for the Christmas Parade. This video was taken by Kaitlyn's friend Josh. the BIG party

Because her birthday is usually lost in the Christmas holidays, we couldn't let this one go by with out helping her celebrate. On Friday we had a 'Pegs & Jokers' game night for Eileen's 50Th birthday. This was the first time ever, all 10 siblings & spouses had gotten together with out kids to PARTY!! The gaming was great fun but the highlight was Eileen reading her card from the group. After graciously thanking everyone for being there, she read that card with a straight face and surprised all her brothers with the commitment for them to re-do her master bathroom. Well this was news to them, while everyone was in shock, she was laughing so hard she was in tears. "but that's what I wanted it to say" she said.

Mom made a cake worthy of the "Cake Boss" so Happy Birthday Eileen

Thanksgiving 2010

It all starts with a plan. In the middle of the night KD had a brilliant idea for a seating chart for the family photo. Now the photo will be coming on Mom & Dads Christmas card, but this story starts with this plan; KD walked in the house, handed this piece of paper, 1 to each family and said "find your spot on the map and be there at 3:00" this meant get you family there too.

Here's the crowd getting it together, dad is trying to get things in order. This is no small feat to get 52 people in the same photo. While we were getting a Wisda shot, there must have been at least 10 different cameras on.

So Mom got her photo shoot so she could have a beautiful Christmas card.

A fun time was had by all, there was way too much food & with the bounce house, sand box, swing set for the little guys and pool table & darts for the big kids and enough baby's to hold I think every one went home happy.
