Shannon's Updates

Margie shares this update to bring everyone up to speed (90 MPG) with the Shannon's:

·         Kaitlyn accepted to attend CSU San Francisco Fall 2013, Yeah!!!! We couldn't be happier and she is excited! She will live on campus in the dorms.  Just a short 15 minutes south, the way the crow flies, away from Dan and Judith.  CSUSF is Dan’s Alma Mater.  She turns, 18, next week, Friday, May 10th.  She will be graduating Trabuco Hills HS. Wed. Jun.19, 2013.  Graduation Celebration TBD. Also, she was captain of the hurdling team. She finished her track season strong, advancing to CIF preliminaries for 100m hurdles, long jump and triple jump.

·         Allie continues to excel in her junior year, preparing to take her AP test this month.  She too had a great track season, going to CIF prelims and pole vaulting  9.6 ft, (her PR, personal best).

·         Brianne is surviving her first year of junior high. She is a student leader for PAL(Peer Assisted Learning) and on the honor role.  She spends her free time showing her rabbits ( 5 in total, 4 different breeds) in 4-H.  She has won multiple showmanship awards and received many for “Best of Breed”.

·         Liam is in fifth grade, on student council, plays the cello, the piano, air soft and COD/lots of video games.  He recently won an essay award as to “Why my Mom deserves a Diamond” and scored a perfect 600 on his Math State Testing!  Our new puppy Lola is the love of his life.

·         Ken is working full time at Lowes in the Hardware department and going his graphics business part time on his own time.  He recently played in the SCGA finals with his men’s golf league.

·         I’m just trying to manage it all, one day at a time.  After 15 years with Astra Zeneca, I received the “Circle of Excellence Award” for top sales performance in 2012.  The award is a hosted trip to Kaui, HI for me and Ken in May.  Aloha!
