Breast Cancer Awareness month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 

As I can tell you this cancer is completely curable. But we all have to fight. The NFL is all decked out in their pink shoes and sweat bands making the games very colorful. So I wanted to share a few things about support. I got a phone call from one of my wonderful brothers,Tim. He tells me "Hey She I'm wearing boots today". I didn't know where he was going with this,"why is it snowing there?" "Nope, it's wear your boots to work to day, to  Kick Breast Cancer". How awesome is that. There are so many way to support the the finding of a cure for this cancer. Find a fun one, like the one at Mimie's Cafe. $1 to "Mimi's Power of Pink" campaign and you get a cup of soup, can't beat that. Walk or run in the "Walk for the Cure Susan B Komen". Even the grocery stores have pink items on sale. But the real bottom line is you have got to get your Mammograms. Breast cancer is one of the few cancers they can treat early because they can see it in the x-rays. But only if you get the pictures taken. So as Tibor says save the ta tas, the breast you save will be your own.

Detroit Cousins visit California

Karen (Duggan) Heasley and family came to California for their vacation this summer. Jim shared some of his view of the trip. They flew into San Francisco, after exploring they drove down the coast, with stops along the way. After checking in at the Disneyland hotel, there was a gathering at the Senior Hoban's house. Everyone who was in the area was there. We don't get to see them often, 

but love to hang out and catch up when we do. Nothing like family, food and fun.

This is the best shot, 3 generations of Duggan Descendants. Karen and Sheila are 1st cousins. that makes Eric and Bridget 2nd cousins, and their kids, Lincoln, Delano and Jacob are 3rd cousins.

Then the next day was Disneyland, Here's Delano with Mickey and Minnie.

If  that was not enough, they then went to San Diego and stayed at the Del. 

It was a trip to see all they could of California, I hope they all have great memories to share at home.

Kevin, Cindy and Corrinne took their vacation in a spot that had something for everyone. And then after all the plans had been made, they found out Dane was going to the same spot for his fall break. BALI, so they met up for some sight seeing and a family style dinner. Here is Corrinne doing some shopping, its whats for dinner.

from what I read, this was a family style meal and a cooking school combined.

Meet Master Stenner Z Molnar

Wow! This beautiful little man came to us on Sept 27, 2012. Around 5:22 pm, weighing in at 8 lbs,  13 oz  he was 21 inches long. Nan says he has Duggan's long hands, fingers and toes. His mommy says he is a good baby so far, very calm. Much needed with Master Tibor around. This Auntie is glad to welcome him to the family, can't wait to spend some more time with him.
