Sheila Update

Last week I started the last process on this journey (I hope). After meeting with the doctor, I had a CT scan, so they could get the numbers they needed. On Friday I went back for a few more x-rays, then I got my tattoos. Monday I went back to work, on a flex schedule. And had my first radiation treatment. So, 2 down 28 to go. If everything goes as it should I will be done on August 6. Yea!!

Fathers Day at Adlena Park

What a great day, a fun time was had by all. Mom hosted a BBQ for the family at the park where we all grew up. We all spent our summers playing at the park and swimming in the pool. Things have changed some in the last 20 years but I think the grand kids enjoyed it as much as we used to. They played basketball. wood chuck, badminton, rode bikes and scooters and went running in the splash park BUT the fun really started when the big guys (all the uncles) played a few games of kick ball with all the little guys. The kids had so much fun, their laughter was contagious. The rest of the crowd was rooting on the side lines.

Baby Announcement

Shawn and Marietta have big news about their upcoming birth in October, it's a GIRL!


So now we are expecting 1 boy, 1 girl and KD and Tibi are going to be surprised in September. I vote for another girl, the California Hoban's are boy heavy. With 9 girls to 14 boys (the great grand kids are even right now) someone needs to step up to the plate, GO KD!!

Benjamin's BIG announcement!

Saturday June 2, the Shannon family hosted a 50th Birthday Party for Ken. The had a camp out for any and all.  The day started with an air soft challenge. There were lots of cousins and friends to explore with. Dad was there helping with the BBQ and celebrating. There was some corn hole games, good food and cake, smores were optional.
Then he played some golf with the celebrities at Pachanga. Looks like everyone had a good time. Happy Birthday Ken, many more to come.  We sang for Dad, as it was his 77th birthday.
