Lyla's Birthday
Birthdays are a BIG thing when your a kid, and Lyla's is after Christmas with cousins Nick's so we want to wish her a Happy Birthday, the big 2. Wow, the last 09' baby to turn 2, they are all growing up tooo fast. Happy, happy day little one, we love you!! (Happy day to Nick too)
Parental Gifting
The highlight of this year was the kids gift to our parents. As you may or may not know, Christmas 2010 the kids got together to give the parents a "Pie of the Month". Things happened and the giving ended up at Christmas Eve dinner 2011. No all 12 boxes were not full of pie, but they didn't know that. It was such fun to see them trying to figure out what to do with 12 pies. Then we had them open something they will use to stay in contact with everyone,
So here is Mom opening up her I Pad, the old fashion version, Dad has a gift card for Marie's, one of their favorite places to lunch. Dad face was priceless......Yes, we got them a new IPad II, when dad gets done setting it up, mom will be able to check her face book & emails with the touch of a finger on the couch in front of the new flat screen TV she's not watching.
More Christmas photos in the next posting.

Kami makes the newspaper!
This was posted in the local newspaper:
Volunteer Kameryn Hoban, 12, places bath and personal hygiene products into bags Tuesday at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, as she and her mother, Kim, help fill gift bags for the Community Resource Center's 29th annual Holiday Baskets program. This weekend, volunteers will hand items such as nonperishable food, blankets, outerwear and toys to 1,600 households.
Good job Kami (& Mom) keep up the good work in your community.
