Hoban Campout

Yea!! 4 days and counting till the Hoban Campout a Lake Skinner. Looking forward to a wonderful weekend. Our son Shawn & his family are flying in from New York, half way through their move to San Jose. Can't hardly wait, it's been too long since we last saw them. We will be celebrating all the important birthdays with a Super Hero Party & you are all invited, wish you could be here.

Birthdays and more Birthdays

On Tuesday, one of our cousins, Miss Kendell Marie Cameron has her special day. Her daddy, BJ, made sure I knew about it so if could be posted to all the Hoban/Camerons. She is Peg & Brian's first grandchild, she was born in 1993, that makes her 17 this year. I have only met Kendell a few times when visiting Detroit, but we wish you a Happy Birthday from all your California Cousins.

On Monday May 24 our Kellen turned 4. He's a big boy now, he'll tell you now he gets to sit in the booster seat in the middle of the van. We went to the movies to see the new Shriek. Then to his house for a wonderful BBQ. He is our 3 grandchild & Tom & Sheila's 3rd Great Grandchild, such a lovie & gives great hugs.

So Happy Birthday to all the birthday Babies this week!

Danes Day

OK, don't let anyone catch you doing something you'll want to forget.

Yesterday was Dane's birthday. He has turned 18. Look out world (or Dallas), here he comes. After a last summer in the OC he will be leaving to school in Dallas, TX. We are hoping he has a blast and enjoys his college years. Dane is the only son of Tom & Cheryl, number 6 grandchild for Tom & Sheila. He is the oldest son of the oldest son, truly he should be the 4th, in the line of Hoban. Danya calls him her big bro. Luke & Sage just love him, he is a wonderful cousin too. So Happy birthday Dane, you were well thought of on thursday.

Katilyn's Day

And a Happy Happy Birthday to Miss Katilyn. She is turning 15 today. Look out mom & dad, almost time for driving classes. She is the first born of Margie & Ken. We were all very excited to have another baby girl in the family.(I remember well the day she came home from the hospital. We called to see how things were going, the phone ringing must have upset her, she was just crying at the top of her lungs, poor first time mom, Margie was a little worn out, don't think they've gotten a decent nights sleep since. Just telling it from my point of view.) She is # 9 grandchild for Tom & Sheila. A wonderful big sister to Allie, Bre & Liam and best friends with her cousin Danya. (2 peas in different pods)

Braden's First Communion

Bradens First Communion is May 15th-Sat. at 5pm at St. John's on Encinitas Blvd. All family members welcome, but do not feel pressured. We know it is a long way to come with busy weekend schedules. We will be doing dinner after the ceremony at our house so RSVP if you are coming.
Hope everyone is enjoying the nice spring weather. Take care BTW for all you Jonas Brother fans....Kami and I get to meet them tomorrow and watch them film their last show of the season. Kami and her friend Emily might get to be on the show! I will let you know.
