Graduation dates

Yeah, the end of the school year draws near.
This year we have 2 seniors graduating.
Kenton Hartwick: On June 4 @ 8:00pm. If you want to party with Kenton, you need to get there early, it's from 4:00 to 7:30 at the Elks Lodge.
Kenton is 1 of 355(out of over 4000) accepted into the engineering program at Cal State Long Beach, so that's where he will be starting in August
then
Dane Hoban: on June 17. There is only so many tickets for each family, so Tom & Cheryl are hosting a party on June 20. Watch you mail for more info.
Dane is going to Texas for school. He was accepted into Southern Methodist University (SMU). This is a smaller campus with 11000 students, outside Dallas. He is very excited to be going out of state for school.

Dillon Hoban & Allison Shannon are moving in up to High School next year.

Girls Weekend

OK, here are a few shots from the weekend. It was quite a challenge to get everyone together, but we enjoyed it. There was snow on the ground when we got there. Some of us got new slippers made by Eileen, we all got our own pretty glasses, we played games, watched movies, went in the "jacuzzi"& ate lots of new snacks. (some were better than others) I will be posting scrapped pages when I get them finished.

Mom's oldest & youngest grandchild.......

F.Y. I.

So you know Shawn's surgery went well. He was talking that same afternoon. Just a little sore throat. They have listed their house for sale and are seeing some interest. It would be really cool if they could get it sold before they leave. They will be in Calif. the last week of April for house hunting. They will be in the south bay area of San Jose.

On a MI note: Aunt Mary Kay is sharing the news: Ian Cameron has been accepted to the school of radiology technology at Detroit Medical Center (DMC) Sinai Grace Hospital. He received 1 of only 10 coveted spots. He will start in July. Congratulations, Ian!
The California cousins add a big congrats too.
Ian was also the first winner drawn in the OK Skate's giveaway this week. Just for being a fan.

Next weekend is the Girls weekend in Big Bear. Can't wait to spend some time with the ladies.

Still waiting for graduation dates to post.
Don't forget Liam's First Communion, on May 8, with Braden's the following weekend.
and Kaia finally got her cast off.

Judith's Jaunting

A happy birthday shout out to Judith on the 10th. But she was not in town, she & Dan went on a trip to Belize. Wow can't wait to see those pitcures. Hope you had a fun trip.

Thanks Ken

A HUGE thank you to Ken Shannon for helping me figure out how to post the heading pitcure. I knew if I asked enough people someone could help me. Thank you Ken...

Ed's passion

OK, so here's a shot of Ed doing his thing at USC, this is his passion. He really enjoys Reffing for the high school kids. Along with all the other coaching he & Kim do: Soccer, La Cross & basket ball. They also keep up with their Indian Guides & Karate classes. It's those busy middle years, once they hit high school years(Dillon, in Sept) they will switch from coaching to fundraising like every other high school parent. I'll get some kid photos posted soon.

Newsy notes

On Saturday 3-20-10 Ed Hoban reffed the High School Basketball CIF simi-finals at USC. The next week on 3-27-10 he did the All Star Game in San Diego. Good job Ed!

A belated Happy Birthday to Supriya (sorry I missed the posting date) we wish you a wonderful year.

Please say a prayer for Shawn, on Friday 4-9-10 he is having some minor surgery, shouldn't be a big deal but a little prayer never hurt anyone.

The 9Th is also Miss Jenna's 1st Birthday!!

Save the date: May 15 is the Cancer Society's Relay For Life. Because cancer never sleeps, each team is asked to have a member on the track at all times for the 24 hour event. Diversified Investment Services is a corporate sponsor, so Tom is going to need some walkers on his team. May 15, 9:00am to May 16, 9:00 am. (We could even make our own team as all of us have been touched by cancer in some way) More updates to follow.

A very Special Congratulations to some of our Michigan cousins. Adrienne & Scott are expecting in Sept. Around the 15Th. And Amy & Art are expecting in Oct. We wish you all the best & a huge Welcome to the Clan to the little ones. Congrats to the new grandparents too!

Just a Note:
Ed & Kay: had 8 children who had 29 Grand children. (Sheila Marie is the oldest, currently living with Nicholas, the youngest) Those 29 had 37 Great grand kids, with 3 more due in 2010, then they currently have 6 Great Great Grand kids. That's 80 +3 so far, I don't think it will be slowing anytime soon. WOW what would they think of that?

Molna'rs Open House

Just so you don't forget: See you all there......
