Michigan News

I think I talk to more MI family on face book than friends. And I know a lot of you aren't on FB, so sometimes there is news that is of intrest to you & you might not get it. Like I was telling mom that the week before Christmas Dina graduated with her BS and is now in her master's program, no stoping that girl. Well that was news to mom, it hadn't made it to Cali yet. So now you all know.

Also because she would never toot her own horn: "Miss Adrienne gave a speach presenting a research paper she did with a doctor, to a panel at a medical convention in Chicago. She received the top scores in all categories, over everyone. She also Honored in Surgery, after thinking she didn't do that good. It will be nice ot have a doctor in the house(family) Colleen is very proud of her & we all say congratulations Adi.

Then she up and got married on Jan 18, to her love Scott. So sorry we could not be there but we wish you a long & happy life together

I am sure Nick will post some wedding photos someday, till then I scooped some off FB for you to see.

Hartwick's Happenings:
Kenton & Nolan have started the basketball season. Kenton lost on friday, but saturday they won in double overtime. Unfortunately Kenton didn't get to see it. He was on his way to the ER, as he rolled BOTH ankles.

Great News!

Yea OPA! Congrats to Jason. Chino School Board voted last night 5-0 to have the charter school in Chino. Lots of hard work got you this far, we know you will do wonderfull things for the kids in this school. We are very proud of you! Keep looking forward, the best is yet to come. CONGRATULATIONS JASON and OPA.

Some of you have checked out this blog, I hope you enjoy it. So, the hubby's birthday is behind us, thanks to everyone who came out to share the cake. Mike really enjoyed watching the football game with the guys & the kids had fun in the dirt & holes in the front yard.

I have been working on the holiday photos. The first ones finished are from the dinner at Mom & Dad's. I know the place was a madhouse when we started to open gifts. But I got to tell you, if you want to get in the pitcure's hold a baby. Odds are someone will snap you.
